It's a recording of sounds of an old store refridgerator. The recorder (zoom h2) was put into the fridge. There are sounds of fridge getting opened and closed, started up and stopped. It was recorded in a dance studio, hence the music in the background audible in the beginning. Lots of interesting noises this fridge makes. Recorded with zoomh2 rear mics from inside of the fridge. Converted to flac using audacity.

The sound caught my attention and i thought others might find it useful. The sound comes from a small cardboard box with a glossy exterior being removed from a slightly bigger cardboard box causing the little pop at the end.

I produced this sound using massive exported through fl studio 20. Clean 808 bass sound sustained with no distortion, no bs, just that thing that makes your speakers jump. Feel free to use this any way you like. I am interested to hear what people do with it so if you post a link here i will definitely listen to it.

I accidentally recorded this sequence when i left my camcorder on while filming some drawing tutorials. My warehouse style studio is in the inner city at street level opening onto a street closure/park so you will hear some faint bird tweeting in the background. Near the beginning and end there is the sound of a large industrial sliding door and the loud clanging is a drop bolt on an external metal security grill gate. Wind blown chimes add to the scene. I only applied a very low level audio clean-up using adobe soundbooth cs3 to reduce hiss.

This break beat was made from freesound percussion hits, with some percussive hits from sound generators in fruity loops studio which was used to sequence and then quite heavily compressed in realtime, with seperate effects applied to the kicks and snares. Recorded out wav at 44khz 16bit stereo ~ 140bpm.

This is a recording of traffic passing on a freeway. Used the voice recorder app on my samsung galaxy phone to record this. It is an android app available on google play. After recording this i downloaded it as a wav file, then uploaded it to soundtrap. Com. An online studio where you can record and create music using pre-recorded instrumental loops. Here i altered or distorted the sound of the traffic to make it a more ambient sounding loop. Giving it a drone sounding noise.

I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

I suppose you could say this is a bit science-fictiony. Kinda like background noise if you were alone in an abandoned space station or starship with the sound of machines and whatnot around you. I made this pad sound by starting with a traditional saw wave and mixing various effects together such as reverb and chorus. The wav file also has pre-defined loop points that can be used in samplers that support the functionality. Note: there is a slight static noise that is present when the sound is played through the freesound player on the website, however, the static is not present when played outside of the freesound audio player. This was recorded using the application recording studio pro. It was made for sound effects by the sister company, beyond the mind design™ and was created for a commissioned short animation. It was produced using a metal ruler and my voice. In this version: the sound has been slightly amplified and overall tone has been equalized, giving a more refined sound effect and higher overall volume. This is reminiscent of the sound playing in friday the 13th pt. 2 when jenny puts on pamela vorhees old sweater and pretends to be her in an attempt to trick jason. One of the lines she repeats during the scene is "jason, mother is talking to you", hence the file name. This was made in fl studio using morphine. Its got a very eerie sound to it thats for sure. Use it in you horror score or for whatever you like.
